This set includes books on two different topics: L- and R-Blends and Three-Letter Blends. As students are learning to read, there are words that are decodable, or non-decodable. Non-decodable words in this set are called yet words. These are words that the student does not know yet, whether that is because they have not learned the phoneme, or the word is truly one that is tricky, or that they need to know by heart. In the flip chart for each topic, there are 5 different stories, for a total of 10 books inside the chart. The word segmenting and blending is an interactive kit that students can work with independently. Each of the cards in numbered so that students can record answers in a log or journal.
